Publications
My publications center on advancing speech signal processing, with a primary emphasis on developing methods to detect synthetic and deepfake speech. This work addresses critical challenges in distinguishing authentic from artificially generated signals, drawing on advances in feature extraction, statistical modeling, and data-driven approaches to ensure robustness under diverse and adversarial conditions. Beyond this core focus, my research spans broader areas of signal processing, including statistical signal processing, machine learning–based methods, and algorithm design for complex, real-world data. A unifying theme across these efforts is the creation of techniques that are both theoretically rigorous and practically deployable, bridging the gap between foundational models and operational systems. Disseminated through leading journals and conferences and shaped by close collaboration with students and research partners, my publications reflect a sustained commitment to innovation, integrity, and impact across the evolving landscape of signal processing.
